We understand that not every object has a similar future: some items hold stories worth preserving, while others require a timely, practical sale. Our role is to steward each item responsibly, matching the right method to the right moment, while reducing stress for clients and helping properties move forward efficiently.
Consignment
Consign one item, a collection or more through our consignment model. We determine the most appropriate sales channel for items based on value, condition, and market demand. Items may be sold through our storefront, online platforms, or placed with Bay Area auction house partners. Send us photos or schedule a walk-through appointment by emailing or calling us.
Gift For Good — Charitable Consignment
For clients who wish to give back, we offer a charitable resale option where proceeds are directed to a chosen community organization or allocated to support Tumbleweed Found’s ongoing work.
Precious Metal Refining
We act as a trusted liaison between clients and an established refinery for silver and gold, turning metal into immediate value, helping to offset costs involved with big life transitions, moves and preparing a house for sale.
New Expanded Estate Sale Services, as of February 2026
“Found and Forward” is an option designed for families who prefer not to hold estate sales in the home and offers a faster option with more privacy in times of grief or transition.
Sellable items are removed from the property and brought to Tumbleweed Found for sorting, research, and pricing. Items best suited for consignment are pulled (sold in our shop, online or through our auction partnerships), while remaining items are offered through a Friday-Sunday weekend sale hosted at our downtown location. This approach allows properties to be cleared more quickly while still honoring the contents of the home. In this model, the estate or recommended professional organizers handle the remaining items (hard to sell items/donations and dump items). We are available to help make recommendations for meaningful community organizations that appreciate these donations.
